iPhone 14 and Watch Event
For some, September marks the beginning of pumpkin spice and Fall decor. But it’s really about Apple events, new tech, and major software updates!
The first big Apple event is this Wednesday, September 7 at 1:00pm ET and it’s widely expected to include the launch of:
  • iPhone 14 / iPhone 14 Pro
  • Apple Watch Series 8
  • AirPods Pro 2
  • New “Pro” Watch
That means this week is the worst time to buy an iPhone, AirPods, or Apple Watch. Even if you’re not into getting the latest and greatest device, previous models will get discounted pricing if you’re looking to upgrade.
So whatever you do, do not buy an iPhone, Watch or AirPods this week. But do tune in to the AppleInsider podcast Wednesday afternoon as I will post my traditional recap episode shortly after the event letting you know everything Apple announced.

iOS 16 Launches Next Week
Apple is fairly consistent about released the next major version of iOS with the new iPhone announcement. Expect to see iOS 16, a major update to your iPhone, available next week on Monday or Tuesday, September 12 or 13.
Major new features include the ability to customize your Lock Screen, edit and undo send iMessages, shared iCloud Photo Library, and changes to the Wallet app.
You can listen to this episode of the AppleInsider podcast for a deep-dive on all the new features, but stay tuned to my YouTube channel for in-depth tutorials and explainer videos covering the new update.

The Perfect AirPods Max Stand
Speaking of videos, I recently reviewed The Max Stand, an awesome accessory for AirPods Max. It wirelessly charges your headphones, and combined with a simple HomeKit automation, is the ideal solution for your desk. Watch the full review here:
