Do you remember your first iPod? I remember mine, it was an iPod Video I bought in 2005. I was commuting on a train 90 minutes a day during a summer internship, and I watched the first two seasons of LOST on that postage-stamp size screen! It was incredible.
But all the functionality of iPod, playing music, videos, and podcasts, is now available everywhere! iPhone, iPod, even Apple Watch can do all those things, and more! So, it’s time to say goodbye to the iconic device.
Apple announced earlier this week that the iPod is officially discontinued, no longer to be sold in any form. It will be missed! Here’s a little tribute video with my first iPod touch, the original model from 2007 that still works! (Thanks, Mom and Dad for getting this 15 years ago ☺️)
